Founded in 2012, beep stands short for the biennial exhibition of painting, which is contemporary painting completion. It attracts artists from around the world and takes place every two years.
This event supports contemporary painting, as well as inspiring artists. This year’s event has an expanded program packed with numerous activities. Artist, as well as the audience, will have a chance to enjoy exhibitions, participate in symposiums, and it’s all organized under the guidance of Swansea galleries.
Andre Stitt & Sue Williams are chosen to be judges for the beep 2018. The winner will receive the £1000 and an independent exhibition with Elysium gallery. Even though the monetary price doesn’t hold significant value, a chance to display your work as an independent artist carries a massive significance.
The friends of the Glynn Vivian gallery sponsor £200 People’s Choice award. This year’s event will take place in numerous locations across the town. Visitors will have a chance to see some of the best contemporary artists and get insight into their work.
